Fixtures of ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024
The Groups & Fixtures of ICC Women T20 World Cup 2024 has been unveiled by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday, August 26, 2024. The iconic Women’s Cricket event will kick off on 03rd October 2024 and ends on 20th October 2024. This Women’s T20 WC was initially set to be hosted by Bangladesh but due to the political unrest in Bangladesh, ICC decided to relocate the ICC Women’s T20 WC to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the same dates.
A total of 10 teams from all around the world are participating in this upcoming tournament. A total of 23 matches will be played in the event including the Final in 2 different venues of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The 10 teams of the women’s T20 World Cup are divided into 2 groups of 5 teams each. The top 02 teams from each group will go to the Semi-Finals of this event. The arch-rivals Pakistan and India are placed in the same group and they will face each other on Sunday 06 October 2024 which is going to be the biggest match of the ICC Women’s T20 WC 2024.
