Groups & Fixtures of ICC T20 World Cup 2024

The Groups & Fixtures of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has been unveiled by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday, January 05, 2024. The iconic cricket event will kick off from 1st June 2024 and ends on 29th June 2024 which will be hosted by West Indies and the United States. 20 teams from all around the globe are participating in this tournament which is the highest number since the start of the T20 World Cup.

A total of 55 matches will be played in the event including the Final on 9 different venues of both West Indies and the United States of America. The United States of America will be hosting an ICC event for the very first time in cricket history that will help promoting cricket in the region.

The ICC T20 World Cup will commence in two stages i.e. Group Stage and Super Eight Stage. The 20 teams are divided into 4 groups of 5 teams each. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Eight Stage which is further divided into two groups of four teams each. The arch-rivals Pakistan and India are placed in the same group and they will face each other on 09 June 2024 which is going to be the biggest match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

  • Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Oman and Scotland
  • Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda and PNG
  • Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal
