The ICC T20 World Cup Trophy Tour 2024 launched at the famous Empire State Building in New York, USA by the ICC. As the countdown to ‘Out of this World’ ICC T20 World Cup 2024 begins, the former West Indies’ left-handed legendary batsman and two-time T20 World Cup Champion Chris Gayle and USA’s fast bowler Ali Khan lit-up the iconic Empire State Building in New York, USA to launch the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour 2024.

The official launching ceremony of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour 2024 will held in the popular Empire State Building in New York as the famous skyscraper was lit-up in pink and navy colors which are the official colors of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The West Indies’ legend batsman Chris pulls the lever to lighten the building.
The ICC Men’s T20 WC Trophy Tour 2024 will reach 15 countries of 4 continents passing sporting teams and grounds, iconic landmarks, and legendary cricketers to invite cricket fans to take part in the ‘Out of this World’ cricket event. In addition to these 15 countries, the Trophy Tour will also reach in the emerging cricket countries of the USA like Canada, Brazil and Argentina to encourage new fans to the sport. The T20 World Cup 2024 trophy tour is continuing. On its three-day tour to Pakistan, firstly the 2024 T20 WC Trophy reaches Islamabad, the capital city of the country. Next, it went to Abbottabad and then reach Lahore on the last day of its tour. An unveiling ceremony of of the trophy was held in NCA, Lahore and the later official ceremony of this trophy was organized by the PCB at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore after the Last T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand. Shoaib Akhtar, ambassador of T20 WC 2024 of Pakistan, started this program and lifted the trophy in front of the Lahori crowd. Now, the trophy will move towards India, where it will visit different cities.
“The Trophy Tour offers cricket fans across the glob with the opportunity to be part of the festival in different locations across the world. Cricket has more than a billion fans all over the globe and we want to give as many fans as possible, the opportunity to get up close with the trophy which will be lifted in Barbados, West Indies on 29th June 2024 by the winning captain,” said Claire Furlong, the ICC General Manager, Marketing & Communication.

This ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be the first event of the International Cricket Council which is going to be held in the United States of America. A total of 16 matches will be played across the three venues of the United States. 8 of them will take place in the Nassau County International Stadium, New York. Whereas, Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas and Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill will host four (4) matches each.
Rest of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 matches will be hosted by the Co-Hosts West Indies. The iconic Cricket Stadiums such as Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago and Saint Vincint & the Grenadines will host the matches of the T20 WC 2024 in West Indies.
The T20 World Cup 2024 will kick off on 1st June 2024.
