On 12th April 2024, singers announced for Official Anthem of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 by International Cricket Council with only 50 days left from the start of the iconic tournament on 1st June 2024 which is set to play in the West Indies and United States.

The Grammy Award Winner Jamaican Deejay and Singer Sean Paul and Soca Superstar from Trinidad and Tobago Kees Dieffenthaller known as Kes are ready to join the team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Official Anthem. The Official Anthem of T20 WC 2024 is produced by Michael “Tano” Montano and will be accompanied by the song’s film clip. The Official Anthem of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to launch in the coming week and will be featuring many renowned celebrities.
A foremost symbol in the music industry for more than two decades, the broadly applauded Jamaican deejay and singer Sean Paul says that he hopes to capture the soul of Caribbean music with a touch of global flair.
Sean Paul further added: “Cricket has always been a major part of our culture, so I’m privileged to record the official anthem of ICC T20 World Cup 2024. I’m a big fan of Kes and anthem will mark a good touch of the Caribbean culture with some dance to a global vibe and Soca of course. It will be a real anthem for fans to sing out and feel the essence of unity.”
The leading singer of Trinidad and Tobago-based Kes The Band (KTB), Kees Dieffenthaller known as Kes, aims to bring a unique vibe to the T20 World Cup 2024 through its official anthem.
Kes says, “Our aim has always been about bringing worlds together, so blending cricket which is beloved to us in the Caribbean, with music is a powerful combination. Shout out to Michael “Tano” Montano, Sean Paul, and the whole team for making this musical vibe. Can not wait for everyone to sing together to this global anthem and bring the party to the grounds across the West Indies and the United States.”
Claire Furlong, the ICC General Manager – Marketing and Communication, looks forward to the effort of the artists in the anthem that will appeal to cricket fans globally.
He further said, “We are pleased to have two globally known artists who are at the top of their fields in Sean Paul and Kees Dieffenthaller (Kes) make the anthem of our tournament that will set the tone for the biggest cricket event spectacle ever. Cricket fans can expect a song that will replicate the identity of the Caribbean while retaining global demand for international cricket fans, themed around the tournament’s marketing campaign ‘Out of this World’”.
