ICC Revealed Match Officials for T20 World Cup 2024
On Friday, May 03, 2024, ICC revealed Match Officials for T20 World Cup 2024 which is going to start on 1st June 2024 in the West Indies and the United States. A total of 26 Match officials are announced by the International Cricket Council for the First Round/Group Stage of the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup. In the 26 Match Official, 20 umpires and 06 Match Referees are included who will officiate in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Umpires for ICC T20 World Cup 2024
A total of 20 umpires will officiate matches of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies and USA. 4 umpires are from England, 3 from Pakistan, 3 from Australia, 2 from New Zealand, 2 from South Africa, 2 from India, and 1 each from Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. The umpiring panel includes both the ICC’s Elite List of Umpires and ICC’s International Panel of Umpires.

Six match referees are selected by the International Cricket Council who will officiate matches at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies and United States. All match referees are from the ICC’s Elite Panel of Match Referees. These 6 Match Referees are one each from Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia, West Indies, and India.

The throughput from the pathway program will continue to see the growth and appearance of high-quality match officials across the tournament.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is going to start on 1st June 2024 in the West Indies and United States. This 2024 T20 World Cup is going to be the biggest T20 World Cup till now as 20 teams across the world are participating and a total of 55 matches will be played in duration of 29 days.
